Kogo Charity Knitting

kogo has been operating since 2004. Last year we distributed over 6000 hand knitted garments. Our aim is to knit warm winter scarves and beanies to give to the most vulnerable in our community.

This year we will again be distributing garments to disadvantaged families and also to those experiencing homelessness. These hand knitted items not only provide physical warmth but also emotional warmth because they show that the community cares.

Australian Country Spinners has given us a generous donation of wool and we are now looking for helpers to knit these items. To find out how to participate in this project, please look up our website www.knitonegiveone.org
