This semester we are offering a greater range of classes for you to enjoy whilst expanding your knowledge and skills in needlecraft.
We have something for everyone with various beginner classes to classes that teach more advanced techniques for students wanting to take the next step.

Beginners Knitting
Learn the basics of knitting in just 3 hours. This class covers cast on, knit, purl and cast off techniques. Suitable for complete beginners. Bookings essential.
Each class costs $35 plus supplies, and runs for 3 hours.
All classes are run on Saturdays from 9am – 12pm, with dates as follows:
7 th May; 21 st May; 18 th June; 2 nd & 16 thJuly.

Intermediate Knitting
Extend your knitting skills with our intermediate class. Learn to read knitting patterns, stitch abbreviations and helpful hints for making perfect garments. Suitable for knitters who are competent in the basic skills (see previous entry). Bookings essential.
Each class costs $35 plus supplies, and runs for 3 hours.
All classes are run on Saturdays from 1pm – 4pm, with dates as follows:
7 th May; 21 st May; 18 th June; 2 nd & 16 th July.

Finishing Class
This class shows you all those little tricks to make your knitted garment look professional. In the class you will learn how to block your garment, attach zips, pick up stitches neatly, and a two needle cast off for smooth shoulder seams. Suitable for intermediate level knitters. Bookings essential.
Each class costs $45 plus supplies, and runs for 3 hours.
Dates are as follows: Sunday 21 st May from 10-1pm & Saturday 9 th July from 9-12pm

Knitting and Crochet Clinics
Drop in with your knitting or crochet problems & questions. Stay as long as you like and receive expert advice. No bookings required.
Cost is $6 per session plus supplies.
Clinics run on Fridays from 12.30 – 4pm, with dates as follows:
Knitting: 13 th & 27 th May, 24 th June.
Crochet: 6 th & 20 th May; 1 st July.

Sunday Crochet Clinic
Whether you are a complete beginner or advanced at crochet you will have something to learn from Jeanette.
Cost is $6 per session plus supplies.
Classes run on Sundays from 10 – 2pm, with dates as follows:
1 st & 15 th May, 19 th June and 3 rd July.

Beginner Cross-stitch
Learn the basics of cross-stitching in just 3 hours. This class covers basic stitching, reading charts, as well as using a variety of threads and embellishments. Suitable for complete beginners, or those stitchers wishing to perfect their skills. Bookings essential.
Each class costs $35 plus $9 kit, and runs for 3 hours.
All classes are run on Saturdays from 9am – 12pm, with dates as follows:
14 th May; 25 th June.

Beginner Tapestry
Learn the skills of needlepoint tapestry, including how to use a variety of basic stitches and threads. This class is suitable for complete beginners, or those stitchers wishing to perfect their skills. Bookings essential.
Each class costs $35 plus $9 kit, and runs for 3 hours.
All classes are run on Saturday from 1pm – 4pm, with dates as follows:
14 th May; 25 th June.

Intermediate Tapestry
Extend your needlepoint skills with our intermediate class. Learn to embellish your tapestry canvas with exciting combinations of threads and stitches. Suitable for stitchers who are competent in the basic skills (see previous entry). Bookings essential.
Each class costs $35 plus $9 kit, and runs for 3 hours.
All classes are run on Sundays from 10am – 1pm, with dates as follows:
8 th May; 26 th June.

Beginner Hardanger
Learn to do beautiful hardanger cut work with the prize-winning author of Elegant Hardanger, Yvette Stanton. Bookings essential.
This class runs for 3 hours from 9am – 12pm on Saturday 18 th June and costs $55 plus supplies.

Private Classes
We also offer private classes for individual or small group tuition. Private classes are organised at a time to suit you and are available in a wide range of needlecrafts including embroidery, hardanger, tatting, knitting, crochet, needlepoint and more.
